What we collect, and why.
Last updated September 2026.
The CMP4 Problem Hub is run by the Connected Mathematics Project at Michigan State University. We collect the minimum needed to decide who should have access to copyrighted curriculum materials, and to stay in touch with the people using them.
What we collect
- Your name and email address.
- Your college or university, your role, the courses you named, and the semester you told us about.
- What you told us about how you intend to use the materials.
- A record that you accepted the usage agreement, and when.
- Which files you download, and when.
- Any feedback you choose to send us.
How it is used
Download records tell the CMP team which materials are actually useful, so the collection can be improved. Your acceptance of the usage agreement is our record for Lab-Aids that access to their copyrighted material is controlled. Nothing here is used to evaluate you.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information, share it with third parties, or run third-party advertising or tracking on this site.
Access and deletion
You can see everything we hold about you on your account page. If you would like your account and its records deleted, send us a note and we will do it.
